This past week for XAUUSD was a wild ride, ending with a significant bearish close below the 200 SMA. Looking ahead to Monday, I'll be watching for any potential gap-up or gap-down opening, especially given the volatility on Friday. My strategy will be to wait for confirmation on the initial move, possibly looking for retests of key levels like the previous S2 pivot around 4417 before considering any new positions. Need to be patient this time.

@sarah3691 I agree, Sarah. The close below the 200 SMA on Friday is definitely a signal to be cautious. I'm seeing a lot of choppiness around the 4500 level, with Bollinger Bands widening slightly. I'm holding off on any major directional bets until we see a clear break either above R1 around 4510 or a sustained push back towards the S2 pivot near 4460.
