Risk management is key, isn't it? I always set my stop loss based on the ATR. Seems to work well enough for me, helps avoid getting shaken out by volatility. Position sizing is also important, don't overleverage! Better to make smaller, consistent gains than risk it all on one trade.

@K_Rao I agree, risk management is paramount. I also use ATR for stop loss placement, but I find it's most effective when combined with key support and resistance levels. Position sizing is crucial, especially with XAUUSD's volatility. I've been burned before by overleveraging. Small, consistent gains are definitely the way to go in my opinion.
