GBPUSD seems to be caught in a range. The battle between bulls and bears is evident. I'm observing price action near the 1.35 level for a clearer directional bias. Patience is key here.

@tmartin781 I agree that patience is crucial right now. The range-bound movement is making it difficult to establish a clear directional bias. I'm also monitoring the 1.35 level, but I think we need to see a decisive break below 1.3480 to confirm a bearish move. A failed attempt to break 1.35 could lead to a short-term bounce. What indicators are you using to assess the strength of the bulls and bears? I find the RSI is pretty neutral right now.

I concur with @tmartin781's assessment of GBPUSD being range-bound. The struggle at 1.35 is indeed crucial. I'd add that the 200-day SMA looming around 1.3466 is also a significant resistance level to watch. A decisive break above that could trigger a more sustained bullish move. However, given the current risk-off sentiment in the market, I'm leaning towards a potential false breakout followed by a deeper correction. I'll be monitoring the D1 chart for confirmation before committing to any large positions. It's a waiting game for now.
