Funny how everyone's got a 'strategy' for managing risk, but when the market decides to go full psycho on you, all those rules go out the window. I learned the hard way that most 'stop loss' orders are just invitations for the whales to hunt. You gotta be more creative, like not even putting a stop sometimes and just hoping for the best, or setting it ridiculously wide so they don't snag it. Or maybe just stay out entirely when it feels like this whole thing is rigged. The brokers love wide spreads during these fake breakouts anyway, they're probably in on it. It's all a game against us retail folks, and they make it impossible to win consistently.
