Arthur, I completely understand the frustration with execution during high volatility sessions like this London/NY overlap. Spreads widen dramatically, and slippage becomes a constant battle for scalpers. I've found that sometimes widening the SL just a touch, perhaps by another 5-10 pips beyond the immediate perceived support or resistance, can mitigate some of that slippage risk. It's a trade-off, of course, as it increases your potential loss per trade if the market moves against you sharply. However, for scalping XAUUSD, ensuring your entry and exit are as clean as possible is paramount. Also, have you considered looking at alternative brokers with ECN accounts that might offer tighter spreads during these peak hours? It's an additional cost, but the improved execution could be worth it for your strategy. The current price action around 4366 is showing a lot of choppiness, making precise entries even tougher.
