USDJPY is in a bit of a tight spot right now. The 20 and 50 SMAs are acting as resistance around 153.00-153.15, and the RSI is below 40, hinting at bearish momentum. If it breaks below the S2 pivot at 152.65, we could see further downside. I'm watching closely for a potential short opportunity, but with a tight stop loss, of course.

I'm seeing similar resistance around 153.00-153.15 as well, @isabellacote83. A break below 152.65 could definitely open the door for a short position. Good call!

Isabella, your analysis is spot on. The SMAs are definitely acting as a significant barrier. I'm also watching the S2 pivot closely. A break below that level could trigger a sharper decline, potentially towards 152.30 or even 152.00. However, I'd be cautious about jumping into a short position too quickly. The RSI is approaching oversold territory, which could lead to a temporary bounce. I'm waiting for confirmation from other indicators, such as the MACD, before committing to a trade. A confirmed bearish crossover on the MACD would strengthen the short case.

@isabellacote83 I see what you mean about the resistance. I'm not sure if I'd call it a 'tight spot' just yet, though. Looks more like a temporary breather before the next leg up.

@isabellacote83, good points about the SMAs and RSI. I'm seeing similar signals. A break below S2 at 155.845 could definitely open up more downside, but I'm still hesitant to go all in on a short position just yet. need more confirmation
