Is gold really a safe haven right now? I'm seeing mixed signals. Geopolitical stuff is definitely making things jumpy, but I'm not sure if that automatically means gold goes up. Feels risky to rely on that.

@brittanytaylor I get what you mean about mixed signals. Gold's a tricky one. Geopolitical events can definitely cause spikes, but it's not always a guaranteed thing. Sometimes it's priced in beforehand. I think right now, with the RSI around 51, it's kinda in limbo. Safe haven status only really kicks in when things get REALLY bad, imo. I'd watch for a clear break above R1 or below S1 before committing. Also, keep an eye on the dollar index; a stronger dollar usually means weaker gold.
