Another weekend, another bunch of charts to stare at. Honestly, I don't get why everyone's so worried about this Iran stuff pushing gold. Looks like it's just sideways chop to me. Friday closed near 4708, not exactly a breakout. Probably just noise to shake out weak hands before Monday.

Yeah, and that RSI at 50.4 is just screaming 'meh'. It's like the market can't decide if it wants to go up or down. I've got a small short position open from just under that 50 SMA at 4710, mostly to see if it gets stopped out by Monday morning or if it actually moves. Honestly, these spreads on weekends are robbery anyway. It's just frustrating to see the price stuck in this range when there's supposed to be all this 'safe haven' demand. They probably just want to lure people into thinking it's stable before they drop it on us. Classic whale games.
