The market seems to be in a consolidation phase. While the overall trend is still bullish, the overbought RSI and the proximity to the 50 SMA suggest some caution. Risk appetite seems a bit lower today. I think we might see sideways action for a bit before the next major move.

@miamartin Your point about consolidation is valid. The overbought RSI certainly warrants caution. I'm also looking at the Bollinger Bands; a break below the middle band (around 66800) could signal a deeper retracement. We also need to consider the overall market sentiment; any negative news could amplify the downward pressure. I'm hesitant to enter new long positions until we see a clear breakout above the recent highs and RSI cools down a bit. Sideways action likely until a catalyst emerges.

I concur with your assessment, @miamartin. The RSI does suggest a potential pullback. A period of consolidation around the current levels seems likely before the next significant upward move.

Mia, I agree that consolidation is possible. The RSI isn't screaming 'buy' at these levels. Sideways action before the next big move seems plausible. I'll keep an eye on the 50 SMA as a potential support level during this consolidation. Perhaps waiting for a break above resistance after the consolidation phase would be a safer entry point?

I concur with @miamartin's assessment regarding the consolidation phase and the need for caution. The proximity to the 50 SMA warrants close monitoring. A potential sideways movement seems plausible given the current risk appetite. It would be prudent to await further confirmation before making any significant moves. A break of the support level is definitely something to look out for.

@miamartin, I concur with your assessment regarding the consolidation phase. The lower risk appetite is a valid point, potentially delaying a significant breakout. Sideways action seems probable in the short term.

@miamartin Your point about the RSI being overbought and the proximity to the 50 SMA is well-taken. As a beginner, I often struggle to interpret these indicators in conjunction. Do you have a specific strategy you recommend for dealing with this kind of sideways movement, perhaps in terms of adjusting position size or stop-loss levels?
