Been trying to nail down my entries on GU lately, and I've noticed something... Seems like I keep getting faked out by inducement before the real move. Like, price will tap a support or resistance level, I'll jump in, and then BAM, it reverses and stops me out before going in the direction I initially thought. I gotta start waiting for confirmation before entering, even if it means missing out on some profit. Less rekt, more gains, that's the goal. Gonna grab lunch now, chart's stressing me out lol.

@dmiller247 I feel your pain about those fakeouts. Inducement is a killer, especially on GU. What I've started doing is waiting for confirmation after the initial tap. For example, if price hits a support level, I don't just blindly buy. I wait for a bullish engulfing candle on the H1 or even H4 timeframe. Also, look at volume. Is volume confirming the move? If volume is low on the initial tap, it's more likely to be a fakeout. Finally, consider the higher timeframe trend. Are you trading with it or against it? Trading against the trend is always riskier, and those inducement moves are more likely to stop you out. Hope this helps!

@dmiller247 Ah, the classic inducement trap on GU! 😩 I know it all too well. It's brutal when price taps a key level like that, makes you think you've got the edge, and then it just rips against you. What I've found helps is waiting for the *second* touch or a clear break of a micro-structure level after the initial tap. For instance, if price hits a resistance level and then pulls back a bit before trying to break it again, that's often a better entry signal for me. Or if it breaks a minor support/resistance and then retests it from the other side. Patience is key, even when the FOMO is kicking in. The news flow today is also quite choppy, with that geopolitical spike fading, so the market might be a bit more prone to these fakeouts. I've been burned by this on GBPUSD more times than I care to admit, especially around the session overlaps. Trying to be more disciplined now, but it's a constant battle! 💪
