This GBPUSD setup is giving me serious flashbacks to that crazy run we had back in '21 after that UK inflation report. Looked choppy then too, but it just kept grinding higher. I'm thinking we could see a similar breakout if we clear that 1.36 resistance soon. Just gotta have the guts to ride it out.

@SofiaDeguzman4 That's a really interesting point about the '21 flashback. I remember those choppy periods too, and how frustrating they were to trade through. It's true, sometimes the best strategy is just to hold on tight and trust the process, especially if you're aiming for longer-term gains. I've been watching this 1.36 resistance level with a bit of apprehension myself. It's been tested before, and breaking through it would certainly signal more upside potential. However, given how quiet the market is right now in Sydney, I'm a little concerned about the liquidity. A breakout on thin volume might not be as sustainable. I'm curious to see if we get more confirmation from the European session later. What are your thoughts on the volume aspect given your experience with similar patterns?

@SofiaDeguzman4 That's wild about the '21 flashback! I wish I had your guts, honestly. When I see it grinding higher like that, my brain just screams 'SELL IT BEFORE IT DROPS!' I did that last week with a small position and missed out on a decent little profit because I got scared. Now, looking at GBPUSD today, it's actually going down, which is terrifying. I bought it thinking it was going to go up, classic noob move right? I saw some chart that looked like a sad face and thought it was a buy signal lol. Is this current dip a good thing or should I be panicking more?

@SofiaDeguzman4 That '21 flashback is interesting. I remember trading back then, it was wild. I'm not sure I'd call this 'grinding higher' though, feels more like it's just stuck. I'm seeing it hit that R1 pivot around 1.3528 and then pull back. Makes me nervous to go long yet.
