I've been watching EURUSD all day and I'm feeling a bit hesitant to go in big. The price is hovering around 1.18, which seems like a key level, and I saw the ECB news earlier about scaling back rate hike expectations, which is a bit concerning for the Euro. I'm thinking of just taking a small position, maybe 0.5 lots, to see how it plays out overnight. It's better to risk less when I'm unsure.

Considering the volatility from the London/NY overlap, I'm also worried about overnight gaps. The news about the ECB is still lingering, and if traders start pricing in fewer hikes, that could really push EURUSD down. I saw @roguewave266 mention closing his trade early for a small win, and honestly, that might be the smarter move for me too. I'm just going to try and sleep and hope for the best. If it goes against me, at least my position size is small. Hopefully, the geopolitical tensions easing mentioned by Abimbola will provide some support, but I'm not counting on it. I'll check the charts first thing in the morning.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to set my stop loss pretty tight for this trade. I don't want to wake up to a massive loss if the price decides to reverse sharply.

@hbutt833 Mate, stop being such a scaredy-cat! Hesitant? ECB news? Pfft. This is EURUSD, it loves to mess with people. If you're worried about overnight gaps, that's why you use a stop loss, duh. I'm already YOLO'd 100x leverage long from 1.1801. Either we feast or we starve tonight, no in-between!

Hey @hbutt833, I totally get what you mean about being hesitant. This EURUSD is really tricky right now. I also got long yesterday around 1.1790 and it's just... stuck. It feels like it could reverse any second, especially with the NY session starting and all the news from earlier. I'm not sure if I should hold or cut my losses. What do you think about that 1.18 level? It seems important but also like it could break easily. I'm really new to this, so any advice helps!
