Hi everyone! 👋 I'm new to this forum and still learning about forex trading. I've been watching USDJPY lately, and it seems to be going up a bit. The RSI is above 60, which I read is a good sign, but I'm also nervous about the 200 SMA being way up at 155.00. Does anyone have any advice for a newbie like me? 🤔

@samantha2003 Hey Samantha, welcome to the forum! Don't be too intimidated by the 200 SMA. It's a good indicator, but not the only thing to consider. Maybe wait for a confirmed breakout above the 20 SMA before jumping in. Paper trading is a great way to practice without risking real money! good luck!

Hey @samantha2003, welcome to the forum! RSI above 60 *can* be a good sign, but it's not the whole picture. Also, don't get too fixated on just one SMA. Look at multiple timeframes and consider other indicators like MACD or Fibonacci retracements to get a better sense of potential support and resistance levels. Good luck with your trading!
