Hi everyone! I'm relatively new to trading, and I'm trying to understand ETHUSD better. I see that the RSI is around 54, which seems pretty neutral. What are your thoughts on the overall trend right now? Do you think it's more likely to go up or down in the short term?

Update: I'm also noticing the pivot points. R1 is at 1999.62. If ETHUSD breaks above that, does that suggest a stronger upward trend?

Hi @linda7455, that's a great question! Looking at the RSI, it is pretty neutral, but I think it's important to also look at the Simple Moving Averages. The price is below the 50 and 200 SMA, which could suggest some downward pressure. However, it's above the 20 SMA, indicating possible short-term support. I'm still learning too, but it seems like ETHUSD could go either way right now. Maybe wait for a clearer signal before making a move? Also consider the Bollinger Bands for volatility context.
