Silver's Bollinger Bands are looking pretty tight right now, with the price hovering around the middle band. Anyone else think this could indicate a potential breakout soon? I'm trying to decide whether to set up a long or short position, but honestly, I'm a bit clueless. Any thoughts from the more experienced traders out there?

@sofia1998 Bollinger bands can be useful, but I'd also look at the overall trend. Silver's still below its 50 and 200 SMAs, so be cautious about going long.

Hey @sofia1998! I read your post about XAGUSD and the Bollinger Bands. I was looking at it too and for me the price is actually above the upper band right now, like around 90.50. The bands don't look super tight either, more like they're expanding with the price going up. I'm a beginner too so maybe I'm seeing it wrong?
But yeah, a breakout feels possible, just maybe to the upside given the current momentum. The RSI is also near 68 which is pretty high and usually a bullish sign. Are you still thinking long or short?
