XAUUSD Feb 13
Anyone else think gold's got more juice left in it? I'm seeing some bullish signs, but also a lot of folks calling for a pullback. What are your thoughts on XAUUSD breaking past 5050 and heading towards 5100? Or is this just a bull trap waiting to happen? I'm thinking of adding to my long position, but want to hear some other opinions first.

Another update: Okay, I'm officially confused! XAUUSD just bounced off that R2 pivot like it was made of rubber. Was expecting a bit more resistance there. Now I'm wondering if that head and shoulders pattern I mentioned earlier is going to be invalidated. Might be time to re-evaluate my strategy. Maybe I'll just sit on my hands for a bit and see what happens. Anyone else feeling whipsawed by gold today?

Update: Okay, so I'm still leaning bullish on XAUUSD, but after digging a bit deeper, I see a potential head and shoulders pattern forming on the H4 chart. Could be a sign of weakness if it confirms. Might be worth tightening up those stop losses, just in case. I'm also watching the news for any geopolitical events that could send gold skyrocketing. Any thoughts on how the upcoming inflation data might affect XAUUSD?

@joshuajackson85 I'm also leaning towards more upside for gold. The RSI is still bullish on the daily. 5050 is definitely a key level to watch. A break above that could signal a run towards 5100, but yeah, gotta be wary of a potential bull trap. I'm holding my long position, but with a tighter SL now.
