I remember when I first started trading, I was so sure I knew everything. I'd see a dip and immediately buy, thinking it was a bargain. Lost so much money that way, buying every dip... Now I'm much more cautious. I wait for confirmation, look at the overall trend, and don't FOMO into anything. These days I focus on risk management. It's boring, but it's better than losing sleep every night. Like tonight, lol.

I'm still learning all this algotrading stuff, but I'm trying to automate some of my confirmation signals. Like, if RSI hits a certain level AND volume spikes AND there's a displacement candle... THEN maybe consider an entry. But even then, gotta set that SL tight! What kind of confirmation signals do you use now that you're more cautious?
