I've been looking at the volume on XAUUSD and it's been pretty subdued for most of the New York session. It's not really confirming the recent dips or the slight bounces we've seen. We're not getting those massive volume spikes that usually accompany a strong trend continuation or reversal. This lack of volume makes me think we might be seeing some inducement for retail traders to jump in on the wrong side. If we don't see volume pick up as we approach the close, I'm not expecting any major moves overnight. It's a bit concerning, honestly, as it suggests a lack of commitment from the big players right now.
