Watching BTCUSD here around 66.6k, feels very similar to how ETHUSD behaved last week. When BTC was consolidating, Ether made a nice run up towards its 200-day SMA. This kind of divergence can be interesting, but we need to see if BTC can break above the 50-SMA at 66.8k. If not, we might see a similar pullback in BTC as Ether did.

Thinking more about that BTC/ETH correlation from earlier… the news about Walmart-backed OnePay adding tokens like Polygon and Solana might be a subtle driver for altcoins, which could then pull BTC up if the sentiment is strong enough. It's not a direct correlation, but these smaller adoption news items can sometimes build a foundation for broader market moves. If retail is slowly getting more comfortable with crypto via these easier on-ramps, that's a positive sign for overall demand. I’m keeping an eye on how the RSI on ETH behaves if it approaches overbought territory, as that might signal a rotation back into BTC if it’s still lagging. The key will be how BTC reacts to that R1 pivot around 66.7k. A clean break there could signal a shift.

@ifeoma1016 Yeah, I've noticed that correlation too! That OnePay news is definitely a positive for altcoins, and you're right, it often pulls BTC along. If BTC can hold this 66.8k area, we could see a nice follow-through.

Hey @ifeoma1016, I think you're on to something with that BTC/ETH correlation. I've been watching it too. The news about those payment providers integrating more tokens is definitely a positive catalyst for the altcoin space, and historically, BTC tends to follow suit or lead the charge. On the technical side, the fact that BTC is holding above its 50-SMA at 66.8k is encouraging. It's been a solid support level. If it can stay above that and break through the 67.5k resistance, I'm expecting a retest of the 200-day SMA around 67.1k or even higher. The RSI is still in a healthy zone, not showing extreme overbought conditions yet, which gives us room to run. Let's see if this sentiment carries us through the end of the NY session.
