Alright, weekend's here, time to plan for Monday. I'm thinking of watching for a potential breakout above 5053. If it holds, I'll consider a small long position. Otherwise, if it dips below 5030, I might look at shorting with a tight stop loss. Gotta be ready for anything after this week's volatility.

Update: Thinking about using a trailing stop if I go long on Monday. The market's been too unpredictable lately to just set a fixed TP. Also, I'll keep an eye on the D1 chart for any major reversals. Better safe than sorry, especially with gold. May even look at a smaller position size than usual.

Archie, your plan sounds sensible. A breakout above 5053 would indeed be a bullish signal. I'm also wary of a dip below 5030. Good luck with your trades next week!

@ArchieG36, I see what you're saying about watching for a breakout. But honestly, 5053 seems too high given the current bearish trend. I'm not sure about going long there, seems risky. I'm thinking more like watching for a dip below 4900. If it breaks that, it could drop pretty fast. What indicators are you using to spot the breakout? Maybe I'm missing something. Just trying to get a second opinion before making a move.

Wow @ArchieG36, those levels around 5053 and 5030 for XAUUSD sound really interesting! I'm still trying to understand breakouts properly, like how do you know if it's a real one or just a fakeout? I usually just try to scalp small moves, but I really want to learn how to catch bigger trends too. Good luck with your Monday plans!
