I'm relatively new to trading and trying to understand the significance of the Simple Moving Averages. Currently, the 20-day SMA is at 2019.7, the 50-day SMA is at 2030.51, and the 200-day SMA is at 1950.47. Is the fact that the price is below the 20 and 50 SMA a strong indicator of a continued bearish trend? Any insights would be appreciated.

Update: I've also noticed that the RSI(14) is currently at 34.9, which suggests the asset is nearing oversold conditions. Could this potentially signal a possible reversal in the near future, despite the bearish SMA alignment?

@BrandonTaylor77, hi Brandon, I'm no expert but I think you're right to be cautious. When the price is below the SMAs, it often suggests a downtrend, but it's not a guarantee, is it? I've been burned before thinking it was a sure thing. I'd wait for more confirmation, like maybe a break below that pivot point around 1923. And tbh, I'm a bit worried about that news coming out of the Middle East. That could mess everything up, couldn't it? Maybe wait and see how the market reacts before making a big move. Just my two cents!
