When I enter a position on ETHUSD, I often scale in. For instance, if I'm looking to go long, I might initiate the first part of the position around 2180, and then add more if it pulls back to a key support level like the 200-day SMA near 2110. Conversely, for scaling out of a profitable trade, I might take partial profits at key resistance levels before letting the rest run with a trailing stop.
