Right, so I'm supposed to be a scalper but I always end up holding bags. My TP is set, but then I see it dip just a tiny bit and my brain goes 'OMG SELL NOW BEFORE IT EXPLODES'. Then it goes up and I'm kicking myself. Definitely need to work on that impulse control, or maybe just get a better hobby like competitive napping.

Hey @william8659, impulse control is the hardest part for sure! For scalping XAUUSD, I usually set my TP tight and then use a trailing stop once I'm in profit. If the price pulls back 50% of my initial profit target, I'll sometimes close half the position to lock in gains and let the rest run with a breakeven stop. It helps me stay in the game without giving back everything.
