I'm really struggling to make sense of things today. The news about the Middle East tensions easing seemed like it should make gold fall, but then there was that other report saying yields are dipping, which usually means gold goes up? And my chart is showing it's just been dropping all morning. Which signal should I even be trusting?

Hey @ameliaadams61, I totally get what you mean. It's so confusing when the news seems mixed. I thought the easing tensions would make gold drop too, but then it went up. I'm new to this and my chart looks like a mess, just red candles mostly. I'm worried I bought at the wrong time.

Seriously, @ameliaadams61, I was just looking at my chart. It seemed like it was trying to break above that 4780 level but it's kinda stalling now. Seeing anything else?
