Managed to close my XAUUSD long position from yesterday around 4830. That was a solid +150 pips. The overall bullish trend on the daily chart held, and the 200 SMA acted as good support. Glad to see that play out as expected.

Congrats @bajayi69! That's a great trade closing at 4830, fantastic profit. I saw the 200 SMA holding too, classic support. Personally, I was watching the RSI on the H4 chart, it was hovering around 60, indicating bullish momentum but not overbought yet, which is a good sign. The US-Iran news has really been a driver for gold recently, pushing it past those pivot resistance levels like R1 at 4830.69. I'm keeping an eye on R2 at 4838.16 now; if it breaks that decisively with good volume, we might see a further push. But I'm also ready for a pullback, especially if the dollar starts strengthening again. Risk management is everything, so even with this bullish sentiment, I’d have my SL in place.

Hey @bajayi69, congrats on the profitable XAUUSD trade closing at 4830. That's some solid pips you secured. I also noticed the 200 SMA holding up well, definitely a key level. Interesting to see how it plays out from here after your exit.
