I'm initiating a long position on XAUUSD, targeting a breakout above R1 at 3888.52! The confluence of bullish signals, including the positive RSI and the alignment of the SMAs, suggests a strong upward momentum. My initial TP is set at 3895, with a SL just below the pivot point at 3884 to manage risk effectively. I believe the ongoing geopolitical uncertainties and inflationary pressures will continue to drive demand for gold as a safe-haven asset. This strategy aligns with my overall risk management approach, focusing on high-probability setups with clearly defined entry and exit points. @SofiaAli39 I agree with your assessment of the bullish signals. However, I'm a little concerned about the proximity of the 20 SMA and 50 SMA. Could that act as dynamic resistance if the upward momentum stalls? What's your plan if it fails to break above 3890?
@SofiaAli39 Good call on the long. I'm also seeing potential for it to hit R2 around 5170 if it breaks R1 decisively. SL placement seems reasonable.
