This drop on XAUUSD today has been brutal, almost took me out of a long position I thought was solid. RSI is looking deeply oversold though, could be a setup for a bounce if we can clear that 4520 resistance. Still watching for that bullish divergence on the M15, might be a scalp opportunity.

Ugh, @coffee497, I feel you. That drop today was insane. I'm also a beginner and I'm so scared about what happens next. I don't even know what M15 is, but if it's oversold, does that mean it'll go up? I'm just watching my account go down and it's terrifying. I wish I could just close it but I don't want to lock in a huge loss if it might recover. This waiting is the worst.

@coffee497 Yeah, that drop was brutal. "Oversold" is one thing, but when the market decides to just smash through support like that, it feels like your stop losses are just targets for the big players.
