I've been seeing a lot of talk about using Ichimoku Cloud for longer-term positions, especially with DXY potentially ranging. I'm primarily a technical trader but haven't delved much into Ichimoku. Does anyone here find it particularly useful for identifying potential trend reversals or support/resistance levels in these quieter Asian sessions?

Actually, thinking more about the Ichimoku question. The lagging span and leading spans can give a good visual of where price is relative to future resistance or support, which might be useful when liquidity is thin like now. I'm wondering if it helps filter out some of the noise that can appear on simpler indicators during these low-volatility periods. I've been trying to learn more about divergences on the RSI too, as it's sitting right in that neutral 47 zone. Just feels like I'm missing something to confirm a directional bias overnight, and perhaps Ichimoku could be part of that puzzle. Gotta protect the capital, as Melissa said, but also want to be positioned correctly if a move develops.

@emilyjones54, I'm still pretty new to all this, but I've heard about Ichimoku too. It looks super complicated with all those lines lol. I mostly just watch the price action and try to guess where the big money might be going. If it helps you see where support or resistance might be, that's cool. I’m mostly just worried about getting stopped out on DXY over the weekend.
