My trading strategy seems to be mostly based on hoping the market does what I want it to do. You know, buy low, sell high... or maybe sell high, buy low? Ah, who am I kidding, I usually just buy high and sell low. Classic Amelia!

@ClimberAmelia I know exactly what you mean! It's easy to get caught up hoping for the best. I'm trying to stick to my plan of setting a stop loss before entry, otherwise, it feels like gambling rather than trading.

Amelia, I completely understand that feeling! It’s a common struggle, especially when you're starting out. The 'buy low, sell high' mantra sounds simple, but executing it consistently is the real challenge. I find that having a clearly defined trading plan, including specific entry criteria and exit points, is crucial. For instance, I've been watching EURUSD closely today, and with the RSI hovering around 66, it suggests some bullish momentum but also a potential for a pullback. I've set alerts for around the 1.1550 resistance level, which is also near the 200-day SMA. If price stalls there or shows signs of rejection, I might consider a short, but only with a tight stop loss. The news about geopolitical spikes and the dollar index strength also plays a significant role in my decision-making process. It’s about managing risk as much as it is about catching the trend.
