I've been trying a scaling strategy with USDJPY lately, especially during these quiet sessions. I start with a small position near a key level, like around 158.00. If it moves in my favour, I add another small position, but if it goes against me, I wait and see if it bounces back. It's all about managing risk and not going all in at once, espcially when the market is so quite.

oh and another thing about scaling... it's super important to have a clear idea of your max position size. Like, I decide beforehand that I'm only willing to risk, say, 1% of my account on this particular USDJPY trade. So even if I scale in multiple times, I never exceed that 1% risk. This helps me sleep better at night, especially with all the news lately... this middle east stuff could make things crazy. Also, I'm watching the 50 SMA closely now, if it breaks above that, I will scale out.
