I've been using a scaling strategy for gold lately. If I'm golong, I'll typically enter with 25% of my intended position size near a support level, then add another 25% if it dips further. If it goes my way, I add the remaining 50% when it breaks a resistance level. For exits, I scale out the same way. Take 25% profit at the first target, another 25% at the next, and let the rest ride with a trailing stop. It helps manage risk and capture more profit potential. The trick is to identify the key support/resistance levels correctly, of course. And keep position sizes reasonable.
