It's so quiet right now with USDJPY, feels like I'm watching paint dry. I saw a YouTube video earlier from some analyst who said the JPY is still fundamentally weak due to their interest rate policy, but the market isn't really showing it yet. He was talking about how the current price action is just noise before a bigger move. I'm still trying to figure out if this sideways action around 159 is a consolidation before it goes up or down. Anyone else catching these slow moves?

Yeah, it's just so slow. I was thinking about that analyst's point on the JPY being weak. If that's true, then maybe this consolidation is actually building energy for an upward move eventually. It's just hard to tell when the liquidity is this low and everything's just bumping between the Bollinger bands. I might just close my laptop soon, it's getting late and not much is happening anyway.
Hey @sophia8443, yeah, it's a snooze fest. That analyst is probably right about the JPY fundamentals, but price action isn't agreeing yet. Give it time, this sideways chop is usually just building pressure for a breakout.
