So, I've been messing around with XAGUSD a bit lately, trying to nail down a solid scalping strategy. It's been a rollercoaster, tbh. I've noticed that it tends to react pretty strongly to news releases, especially anything related to the USD. Anybody else use news events to time their entries? I'm trying to avoid getting whipsawed by the initial volatility. I'm thinking of incorporating some Fibonacci levels into my analysis to find better entry and exit points. Any tips from the seasoned scalpers out there? Or am I just chasing windmills here?

@JGarcia78, it's true news can create huge volatility on XAGUSD, especially USD news. For scalping, that's definitely a factor. But as a swing trader, I tend to look at the bigger picture after the initial noise settles. I use those reactions to confirm longer-term trends rather than chasing quick entries. It helps me to avoid getting whipsawed too much.
