If it gaps up on Monday morning, I might look to get long straight away. Just need to see how strong that opening candle is.

Hey @wiseDune5, I see your point about waiting for that opening candle strength. Personally, I'm a bit more cautious with DXY gaps on Monday. Given the recent geopolitical tensions, especially with the Middle East headlines, I'm expecting some volatility. The dollar usually benefits from safe-haven flows, but the news seems a bit mixed right now, with some diplomatic efforts mentioned too. I'd rather wait for a clear break above the R1 pivot at 99.68, or even better, see if it can hold above the 20 SMA around 99.66 for a couple of hours before considering a long. If it fails to hold that 99.66 level and breaks S1, I might even lean bearish for a bit.

Hi @wiseDune5, I hear you on waiting for that opening candle. I'm a bit scared of those gaps though, especially with this Iran stuff going on. It feels like the dollar could move really fast either way, and I don't want to get caught on the wrong side of a big gap up or down. I might just watch it for a bit first.
