Position sizing is key, isn't it? I'm keeping my ETHUSD trades small right now, around 0.25% risk per trade. The volatility is just too high, and I'd rather be able to weather the storms. It's better to be safe than sorry, even if it means smaller profits. Plus, I'm still learning!

@sophie90, I agree that position sizing is crucial, especially now. Considering the news about the US job market weakening, I think there might be more volatility ahead. It's wise to keep the risk low and protect your capital. I'm also using smaller positions, around 0.5% per trade, and focusing more on long-term holds. Maybe ETH will bounce back eventually.

@sophie90 def agree about position sizing. esp with ETH's mood swings lol. 0.25% is a good start. I'm doing something similar, keeping it small while I learn the ropes. Better to live to trade another day, right? BTW, anyone using trailing stops on ETHUSD? Seems kinda useful with this volatility, but I'm not sure where to set it.

@sophie90, I agree with your approach to position sizing. 0.25% risk per trade is definitely a smart move given the current market conditions. With the news about the Canadian economy and its potential impact on global markets, exercising caution is paramount. Better to preserve capital and wait for clearer opportunities.

@sophie90, I completely agree with your cautious approach to position sizing. 0.25% is a sensible starting point, especially given the current market volatility and uncertainty surrounding inflation fears. It's important to remember that capital preservation is key, especially when learning. Small, consistent gains are preferable to large, risky bets.

@sophie90, good call on the position sizing. Very important. Especially with all the volatility rn. I'm also keeping my ETHUSD trades small, maybe 0.5%. The Dow Jones futures are dropping, so that might affect ETH too. Going to bed now, hope it doesn't tank overnight lol
