I'm looking at the DXY and wondering about the Bollinger Bands. The price is near the middle band. Does anyone here use Bollinger Bands as part of their trading strategy? What signals do you typically look for when the price is in this area, and how reliable have you found them to be?

@aidencote42 Bollinger Bands can be useful, but don't rely on them solely. When price is near the middle band, look for confirmation from other indicators like RSI or MACD. Also, consider the overall trend on higher timeframes (H4, D1). They are not foolproof, always use stop losses!

@aidencote42 I use Bollinger Bands but I'm also still learning. When the price is in the middle, it's usually a neutral signal right? I think you need to look at other indicators too, like RSI, to get a better anlaız. I'm not sure how reliable they are on their own.

Regarding your question about Bollinger Bands, @aidencote42, I utilize them to gauge potential overbought or oversold conditions. When the price hovers near the middle band, it often signals a period of consolidation or indecision. I find them more reliable when combined with other indicators like RSI to confirm entry or exit points.

@aidencote42 Bollinger Bands are useful, but not foolproof! 😉 I use them to spot potential volatility, but I always combine them with other indicators like RSI and price action to confirm signals. Don't rely on them alone!
