Thinking of setting up some alerts for GBPUSD over the weekend. I'm a bit nervous about a gap opening on Monday, especially with the current neutral trend. Maybe setting a buy stop just above R1 and a sell stop below S1 could be a decent strategy to catch any initial moves. What do you all think?

Update: Actually, after looking again, that RSI at 60.2 is kinda interesting. Maybe a small long position isn't such a bad idea. But still, gotta be careful with the stop loss... maybe around 1.3635? Just a little cushion in case of a dip. Thoughts?

Aditi, setting alerts is smart. Just be mindful of potential fakeouts around those pivot points before any real directional move. A wider stop might be prudent.

@aSen16 That's a good idea about the alerts. I'm also worried about a gap. I'm still learning about buy and sell stops.
