Anyone else wondering what gold's gonna do next week? That weekly close was kinda weird, right? I'm thinking maybe a small gap up on Monday? Just trying to figure out my plan of attack for when the markets open again.

Update: Also wanted to add, with the Canadian news about becoming independent, I wonder if that'll affect gold at all? Maybe a little boost as people diversify? Might be wishful thinking tho lol. See you Monday everyone!

I agree with you on the small gap up possibility. The weekly close was indecisive, but the underlying trend still seems bullish. I'm also looking at the pivots for potential resistance levels, R1 is at 5170.44, so that's a level to watch. I think we'll see some volatility early in the week, so definitely good to have a plan ready. Maybe scale into a position rather than going all in at once?
