My trading strategy today has been… let’s just say ‘creative’. I saw gold dip and thought, ‘Ah, a classic buy the dip opportunity!’ So I went long, feeling all smart. Then, oops, it dipped some more. My brain then went, ‘Okay, buy MORE to average down, genius!’ Fast forward an hour and I’m staring at a loss bigger than my last electricity bill. My inner monologue was basically just a series of increasingly panicked ‘oh dear, oh dear’ sounds. I swear, sometimes I think my trading account is just a donation box for the market. Note to self: maybe actually wait for confirmation instead of just guessing based on how pretty the candles look. Or maybe I should just stick to knitting, at least then I only lose yarn. 😅
