Looking back at the week for EURUSD, it was a bit of a mixed bag. We saw that push up towards the 1.16 area, which was promising, but then Friday brought some profit-taking or maybe just some hesitation before the weekend. It's hard to say what the geopolitical news with the oil prices is doing to the dollar; one headline says it's weakening, the next says it's poised for a rebound. This kind of uncertainty makes me a little nervous about holding positions over the weekend. I'm keeping my stop losses tight, just in case. It feels like we might consolidate further next week unless something major breaks.

@brianhall98 I agree, that Friday pullback was notable. The dollar's weakness despite the news is definitely something to watch. I'm curious to see if that trend continues next week or if we get a snapback.

@brianhall98 I share your observation about the Friday pullback. The strength in the dollar, despite the escalating geopolitical concerns, is indeed peculiar. It suggests that perhaps the market is pricing in a specific outcome, or simply that safe-haven flows are more complex than usual, possibly favoring USD over other safe assets like JPY or CHF in certain scenarios.
