Weekend boredom setting in... Anyone else just staring at charts waiting for Monday open? I'm itching to see if gold gaps up or down. Been holding this position all week, hoping for a decent start to next week. Let's see what happens.

@leomorris89 I feel you on the weekend boredom! I've been staring at these charts all day too. Seriously, what else is there to do? haha. I'm also holding a position, but I'm not as confident about a gap up as you are. The 200 SMA is sitting around 5192.82 and that could act as significant resistance if gold tries to push higher. I'm thinking a gap down is more likely, especially if the Canadian news keeps weighing on sentiment. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic though!

I think there's a good chance of a gap up considering the RSI and the positive close on Friday. However, the Canadian news could add some uncertainty.
