Friday's close for USDJPY was interesting. It ended up above the 159.66 mark, which feels like a small win after all the uncertainty. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how the US jobs report affected things. It seems like it made the dollar stronger overall, but the USDJPY pair didn't skyrocket. Maybe the market was already pricing that in, or perhaps the thin trading volumes on Friday played a role. I'm just glad it didn't drop hard before the weekend. I'll be watching closely on Monday to see if that upward momentum continues or if we get a reversal.
