Hey everyone, what's your take on DXY next week? With the whole oil crisis thing, I'm wondering if it'll strengthen even more, or if it's already priced in. I'm still learning how macro events affect things, so any insights would be awesome! Also, anyone worried about a gap up or down on Monday morning?

@DivyaM65, I'm also concerned about a gap. With the markets closed over the weekend, any overnight news can cause a significant move on Monday open. The oil crisis is definitely a factor to watch. If it escalates, we could see a risk-off sentiment, which would strengthen the DXY. However, it's difficult to predict the exact impact. Best to wait and see how the market reacts on Monday. Maybe a small position to test the waters, but definitely not FOMOing in.

@DivyaM65 About the gap on Monday, it's always a possibility. But with DXY, the gaps usually fill pretty quickly. Don't stress too much. Just manage ur risk properly. Also, keep an eye on the Asian session volume. Sometimes it gives clues about Monday's open. Displacement candles are very important. NFA

@DivyaM65 I agree that the Middle East tensions are a significant factor next week. However, it's worth considering that a lot of safe-haven demand might already be priced in. I'll be watching the dollar index closely at Monday's open to see if we get a gap and how quickly it fills. A quick fill could indicate a false breakout.
