So yesterday I was watching XAGUSD and got cocky thinking I knew where it was going. I saw what looked like a breakout on the hourly chart, went long at 87.20, and then BAM, it reversed hard. Lost a good chunk of my account. Lesson learned: don't FOMO, even if it looks like a sure thing. Always wait for confirmation, and stick to your stop loss. I'm thinking those geopolitical risks mentioned in the news (N3) are really driving the price action, making it hard to predict. Now I'm just waiting for a clearer signal before jumping back in. Anyone else get burned recently?
