Watching XAUUSD during this Asian session is like trying to find a quiet moment in a hurricane! 😅 Madison, you mentioned skepticism about smart money... I'm seeing decent volume on the downswings, which does give some weight to your 4900 target. However, the RSI is sitting pretty neutral at 45, not screaming oversold yet. Feels more like consolidation than a clear trend confirmation. Need to see if this volume holds or fades into the European open. 🤔

Actually, thinking more about that volume I mentioned earlier... it's not just about the downswings. I'm noticing a bit of a spike in volume around the 5005-5007 area too, which is basically the current resistance zone defined by the 20 and 50 SMAs. This could suggest some buyers are stepping in there, trying to prevent a further drop. So, while the bearish sentiment from Madison's post and the general move is there, this volume pattern might be hinting at a potential short-term reversal or at least a strong battle at that level. It's definitely not a clean bearish signal if buyers are showing up at resistance. This is why I'm still on the sidelines for a big move. Gotta respect the zones! 👀

@freyabell95 I agree, the volume on the downswings is what's catching my eye too. It's making me question if this RSI being oversold is a true signal for a bounce or just a temporary pause in a larger bearish move.
