Ugh, these spreads on BTC are killing me today. 😩 Just tried to open a small short position and the slippage was brutal. Feels like my broker is widening them intentionally when it's this volatile. So frustrating when you're trying to scalp. 😠

Anyway, back to the slippage thing. It's not just BTC either, I noticed it on XAUUSD yesterday too. Makes you wonder if it's just the general market conditions or if some brokers are taking advantage. 🤔 I'm definitely keeping an eye on my execution. The news about Connecticut suspending Bitcoin Depot doesn't help investor confidence either, which probably adds to the choppiness. I'm hoping for a clearer trend soon so I can get some decent entries without getting eaten alive by fees and slippage. 🤞

@ZeroGravity73 Yeah, the slippage can be brutal during volatile periods. I noticed it on XAUUSD too. Keep an eye on your broker's execution policy; some are notorious for widening spreads when they see opportunity.
