BTCUSD Feb 21
Anyone else thinking BTC might test 70k soon? The bullish momentum is pretty strong, and the 20 SMA is holding nicely. I'm already in with a small position, but wondering if I should add more. Thoughts?

Update: Actually, looking at the Bollinger Bands, there's still some room to run before it hits the upper band. Maybe 71000 is more realistic short term.

Hi @lily2157, I appreciate your bullish outlook, but I'm a bit cautious right now. While the 20 SMA was indeed holding, the recent price action shows a clear break below it. The bearish RSI divergence on the H4 chart also worries me. A test of 70k seems unlikely in the short term, especially with the current negative sentiment. I'd wait for a clear breakout above the 50 SMA and a confirmation from other indicators before adding to your position. Be careful!
