Well, after getting absolutely rinsed on that last short attempt when gold decided to impersonate a rocket ship heading for the moon, I've cautiously entered a long position around 4780. I've set my stop loss just below the 4750 support, which is practically begging to be taken out, I'm sure. This geopolitical escalation is giving me slight pause, but honestly, the market always finds a reason to run stops. The DXY is weakening, and that news about the Middle East is a classic gold driver. I'm watching the 4800 resistance like a hawk, expecting it to either blow through or reject violently. Just another Tuesday, I guess.
