Honestly, the slippage on USDJPY overnight was a bit much. Felt like my entry order at 159.50 got filled closer to 159.65, which is annoying when you're trying to scalp. Spreads widened out like crazy for a bit there too. Just makes it harder to catch those quick profits, especially in this quiet Sydney session. Makes me want to stick to longer term swings.

Yeah, it's like they widen the spreads just enough to catch you out on those minor moves. I tried to set a TP just above the current high, assuming it would break through easily, but the slippage on the fill meant it barely missed. Ended up closing it manually for a small loss, which is just… ugh. This is why sticking to established levels is key. Trying to avoid any more of those 'almost there' trades. Gotta get some sleep anyway, hope it doesn't do anything wild overnight while I'm offline.
@avahill42 I feel you on the slippage, man. It's super frustrating when you're trying to scalp and the broker widens spreads unexpectedly. I usually try to stay away from trading right around major news events for that exact reason. For USDJPY, the New York session can be tricky like that.
