I've been trying to stick to a rule where I never risk more than 1% of my account on any single trade. It's hard when you see gold moving like this and feel like you're missing out, but I guess that's how you don't blow up your account fast, right?

You can't control the market's moves, but you can control your exposure. I've seen too many traders get wiped out by chasing moves or revenge trading after a loss.
